Philosophy

This blog is founded on the idea that shared knowledge is the food which nourishes the insight and imagination of others. If a butterfly flapping its wings on the beach on one side of the ocean can start a hurricane on the other perhaps a story on home gardening will nurture a movement that will lead us in the right direction towards sustainable, renewable living.

Casual reflections on life may not have the most direct or forceful affect on our world, but I do sincerely believe that by exposing my interests and joys in life it will encourage the philosophical awakenings we all need for the future of our independent selves and our interdependent communities.
