Shelly and I biked along both sides of the Willamette River this evening. There is a short circuit that goes along both sides of the river with bike routes across the Steel Bridge in the North and the Hawthorne Bridge in the South. It is a beautiful ride and you can always stop to take pictures, talk, meditate or have a microbrew at one of the lively joints near the water. The Montage restaurant is nearby in the East industrial district for some gritty Creole vs. Portland fare.
