Portland Community Media
Posted on 18 July 2009
I am moving from Nopo back to my condo in the outskirts of Portland. In my opinion this is unfortunate because I prefer to be near dowtown where things are happening. As much as I go out anymore this really doesn’t make as much of a difference as I would like it to be.
One of the benefits of being near the heart of the city is all the cool community projects. Around the corner from my old apartment is Portland Community Media, an orginization that teaches and provides the resources for people to learn how to film and produce their own movies and television shows. Do you want to take some footage of the Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race for your cousins in Elizabeth, New Jersey? Have a child that wants to make a public access show about model airplanes? Whatever your interests take a look at the schedule and if it interests you contact them for an evening with PCM.
